Project Updates :



  • New Training Batch: A new training batch has been started in Dudhai village, near Shahdol from April 1st, 2011:.The batch has strength of 30 participants; this is the batch with youngest trainees with an average age of 22 years. The trainees are very enthusiastic and eager to learn the new craft. Overall response is good.

    About trainer: The trainer himself is one of the trained artisans and has given training in Musra fulwari village and Karchul village. So he has got an experience on training with good previous results.

  • Artisans card submission: The artisans card has been submitted in Gwalior HSVN office, for the on - going batch of Alahapura. The total forms of this batch were 39. Reaching a total number in Shahdol, 111.

  • Electricity Alternative: Aawda artisans still facing the electricity problems, that impacting the production. So as an alterative temporarily solution, A generator has been provided to the artisans, so that work will not get affected.

  • Trainees got Registration and Certification form HSVN and forest department
  • Project coordinator of MPRLP visited Shahdol and Sheopur to see the progress.
  • Sixty-five artisans got artisan card from Development Commissioner Handicraft (Department of Ministry of Textile) in Shahdol.

    ** A total of hundred and one artisans have received artisan card till date out of which 65 are from Shahdol and 36 from Sheopur.
  • Sixty more artisans applied for artisan card from Shahdol and Sheopur.
